Fallen Earth is set in 2152 after a series of disasters wipes most of the population off the face of the Earth. The game is set around the Grand Canyon in America and covers covers more than 1000 square miles of usable terrain. The game, features customizable characters where you can choose almost every aspect of your character.
Outside the walls of the Hoover Dam Garrison, the player will encounter old world ruins, genetically-altered creatures, strange technology, and six factions at war with each other. Some factions want to rebuild the old world, others wish to build a new one, and some simply desire chaos and anarchy.

This game is focused on skill-based character development with a strong emphasis on flexibility and player preference. Classes of skills include active skills, trade-skills as well as mutation-based skills, which can be increased through Advancement Points or skill usage.

Fallen Earth will allow you to carry as many as 6 active weapons which will be a part of your character’s appearance (visible to yourself and other players.) Combat in Fallen Earth is generally in a first-person shooter format although the camera can be changed to third person if desirable.

Interact with characters, find missions, continue the story line of the game, or join factions and fight. There are tons of possibilities to explore.

Fallen Earth is expected to be released on September 20, 2009.
