At first glance this game looks fun and it is. It’s filled with dune buggies, motorcycles, 80’s buicks. Whats not to love? You have your choice of game play from free roam mode, to career and challenges.
You find yourself running from tornadoes, trying not to fall off a cliff all the while trying to beat the pack to the front of the line to take first place in a race.
Great graphics help this game but they alone can’t sustain it. Soon, you grow tired of the same boring races, predictable weather and stupid music that turns your brain into puddle of diarrhea.
The bad soundtrack aside, this game has it’s fun. I found myself in free ride mode more than any other trying to find cool jumps to propel my car into the air.
Sadly, the free ride mode got boring and I had to go back to the racing which was just as boring. I felt like I was going through the paces just like the race before that. Even though the landscape changes the playing fun doesn’t.
Overall it was fun but short lived. So, if you want to drop some coin on temporary fun go for it. But, if you bore easily this probably is not the game for you.
